McKinlays have been making shoes since 1879; as you can imagine, they’ve seen a few changes since then. However, even though tastes and styles have moved on (some would say come full circle) one thing has remained the same: high quality footwear, made to last, has always attracted discerning buyers. Although started from humble beginnings, McKinlays currently make between 130 and 160 pairs of shoes each day. As production has increased to meet growing demand, they've taken care to retain some of the traditional skills and techniques that add value to their product and set McKinlays shoes apart from the mass produced mainstream.

Delivery

NZ delivery is free for orders over $99, or just $5 for everything else.

Orders are dispatched twice a day Monday to Friday from our Dunedin warehouse, normally before 8am and again at 3:30pm.

Delivery times are generally 1-2 business days for South Island and 1-3 business days for North Island. For rural addresses please allow an extra couple of days.

Returns

Purchases (including sale) can be returned within 30 days for a refund or exchange for an alternative size or style. Items must be in unworn condition and in original undamaged packaging. When trying your purchase on, please do so inside to avoid wear.

Refunds are made to the card or Afterpay account used for purchase. We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, however bank and Afterpay processing times mean that refunds can take up to 5 business days to appear in your account.

Refunds are processed for the purchase price and do not cover return postage costs. If the item has been returned because the wrong item has been sent or the item has been deemed faulty, we will refund your postage costs.
